Guys

Looking at getting a Mini loom made up but minus a few things... Where is best?

Is there anyone I could say "I want a mk1 loom but leave out......"

That's what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the help

Hi mate, these blokes did the loom in my fathers moke, we sent the loom over they cleaned it, re terminated some of the connections and then braided it like the early looms and was only just over $100, they can do anything you need.

Give them a call, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem

Hey Guys,

Do you think vinwire might do mix-n-match looms? I have a 68 deluxe with a Rover steering column (indicators, ignition, high beam and 2 speed wipers) with lights (park and low) and wiper washer on the dash. OR would I be better off just going to an auto electrician and having them make it up?

Just after ideas... How do people usually have it done?

I had something very similar done. I based my loom on a 68 deluxe, had them add fuel pump wire, head light relays, wiring for parking lights in the headlights, additional gauges, tacho, 2 speed wipers, additional wiring for alternator etc. You can have it wrapped in PVC or cotton braid with a colour of your choosing, as 1275greg suggested give Paul a call, he couldn't have been more helpful when i ordered mine.

I tried emailing one of them a couple of years back - and no reply.

May have to use old fashioned phone call....

I recently had a new complete loom made up for my sons car, late 67 deluxe. Dealt with Ian at Classic Wiring Looms and nothing was a problem. Done in braid, and all the extras a young bloke could want. Relays/fuses for driving lights, H4 headlight upgrade, accessory wire for stereo, wire for cig lighter to charge ipod etc etc. Reasonably priced, excellent service all tagged to let you know where it goes!

If you speak directly to Vinwire they are very good. The loom they did for our Rally van was first class and featured many similar mods to what you wanted. I understand the long lead times are simply because they are always busy.
