Gosh they didn't even bother removing the weight from where it mattered on miniDave's old over lightened one! It's still carrying heaps on the outside, I don't remember what mine weighed, if/when I pull it out I'll weigh it, but it probably would weigh the same (if not less) than the one you showed, while still being reliable... By the looks of that one, some yutz was looking to take as much off as quickly as possible and couldn't be bothered setting it up on a rotary table (or maybe they didn't have access to one). In anycase, it doesn't look like much thought went into it

So, Doc, you don't actually do any of the milling and lathe work yourself, but instead have 'friends' to do it for you. !? It appears you leave the relevant parts out in the garden overnight and by morning the pixies and gnomes have performed their magic. A couple of them forgot to hide when you took those photos.

Yeah I acquired that one from somewhere over the years, I can't remember where. It's a pretty dodgy lightening job. I put it onto miniDave's rally motor then he had a minor clutch problem, in the process of fixing that I took it out and fitted a stock one.

The couple I lightened years ago looked similar to that QH one, I turned them in 3 setups on the lathe faceplate at work. One is in Barney, I think.
