Just got some new stepped drums with studs and screws - some of the studs are a loose fit and the splines don't bite. Should I Loctite or Araldite them in place?

David - send me a PM if you'd like this whole thread deleted so it can't be referenced in years to come. There's only so much ridicule a Mini enthusiast who's made a simple mistake should have to handle. :D

I have some studs with a coarse spline on them if you like I will send You a set
if they work
it may save You a bit of money if they do not then send them back
if they work and the other studs are not damaged and I can sell them
then it will not cost you anything
best regards
John

I was a little excited - not simply for have something for the Mini turn up in the post but also solving a problem. The problem being a 7 year old grandson down from Rocky for Christmas who has asked to work on the Mini with Pa. Now I have a task for him that he can do almost unaided.
