I would let it sit for a while, maybe take it for a few drives. I just changed mine (got some good old ones), and to make the install easier I wound the hilos all the way in. After dropping the engine in and letting it sick back on its wheels, it was much higher than it was, eve wound all the way down! It's since sunk to a normal ride height, but I think a bit of a drive will push it further.
