Any recomendations for 10's in Brizzy?

My friend's wife works for Yokohama and she quoted me similar prices. I think that she hates me.
You should look at importing them from the UK, much cheaper. You'll be suprised. Delivered to your door within a few days. I found that the shipping for six was the same as four, so get six. The total price from Minisport UK was a little cheaper than MiniSpares UK.
Do it now before there is a GST on ALL imported goods and the dollar falls further.

$630 for 4 shipped to me (NSW 2500) (minispares UK) - thats 184 pounds for tyres and 164 pounds shipping
$920 for 6 shipped - thats 276 pounds tyres and 227 pounds shipping

$640 for 4 shipped to "Australia" (minisport UK)- thats 162 pounds for tyres and 190 pounds shipping
$920 for 6 shipped- thats 244 pounds for tyres and 262 pounds shipping

Using the current exchange rate and rounding to the nearest A$10

Just buy them , you probably won't do much better than that , i paid $135 for my 008's about 6 months ago .

And then valves, tyre disposal, fitting and balancing on top. $139 is good

Dunno about A008 but the better tyre AO32 from Minisport UK is $684 delivered compared to $876 (your quote) for four tyres delivered to your door.

What about falken tyres ??? as i got the size you want a bit cheaper

Falkens last forever but don't grip like an A008, wet or dry. I drove a Mk2 S yesterday with a set on, they don't turn in like my Yokos either.

I used up four (4) 12" Falken tyres driving One Lap of Oz at a pedestrian pace...2 shot by Adelaide, 2 more shot on getting back to Brissy. If <30,000 kms. is lasting forever, there you have it.

I would use 12" Yokie 539s but none were available in OZ (yes from UK but I was in Canada and going to Oz).

10" Falken FK07Es are much harder than their 12" ones. They last great (I'd say 2x Yokos) but don't grip...

Ended up buying 4x JBW Minilight with 032's, landed for $940
Also gives me +32 offset so I can ditch the arches

What is the favoured way of sourcing S Brake Hubs?
Local 8.4 hubs and import new discs and calipers?

If you need hubs along with the rest I'd buy the kit.
The drum to 7.5" S disc brakes kit with Timken bearings is around $1030 at Karcraft, I'd try local prices before buying in from UK. Airfreight is becoming a killer and the exchange rate is making it worse.
Be aware quality varies a bit between suppliers now, particularly re swivel hubs and their balljoints.
