Hey do you reckon I salvage the steering arm off the 7.5 solids and try my luck ?

If They have AYA4116 and AYA4117 I would put them on for
sure
IF You are going to reco Your steering Rack I would put 1100 tie rods in the rack
(not The Tie Rod Ends) the bit they screw on to that will give You plenty of adjustment
without running out of thread.
Winabbey has given You a diagram showing the diff in steering arms
it is the same one I used in My catalogue
