The slow rebuild of "Project S" continues where I am now at the stage of rebuilding the door hardware and I have come across a couple of oddities.

Firstly, with regards to the inner door handles as shown above, the one on the right has a tensioning spring that makes the locking lever more positive in its action whereas the one on the left has none. I checked the other pile of handles I have and not one has this spring fitted nor do they appear to have ever been fitted. Did Leyland decide to omit them as a cost saving exercise or just laziness on the assembly line.

Secondly, with regards to the inner door handle bellcrank lever, I have one that is thicker than any other one I have ever had, in fact the only one out of my collection. My searching can only find the one common reference to this part number HYB3641 so my question is, which is the right one?

One of these days I will get around to updating "Project S" in Members Gallery but in the meantime, here is part of where it is at.
