Hi guys,
As per the title, is this trim still able to be sourced?
It's a 1964 850, in red, as pictured below.

I am wanting to replace the torn section; all the other vinyl is soft and 100% flawless.

If anyone has any, or knows of any, sing out!
Even if it was a good rear seat where the vinyl could be pulled from, this would be suitable.

Cheers!
Will

Cheers James.
The seat on gumtree is red with black, and given the stitch lines in the red area wouldn't really be suitable. Cheers for your help though!

Anyone else able to assist?

Hey Will, my 850 has the same pattern seats (in blue) but the front section where you have the tear is plain vinyl, same as around the sides. I've seen original 850's where some have that front section plain and others have the flecked material - so I can only assume the factory did it both ways?

Might be easier to match the plain red and redo the front section that way if you can't find some original fleck.

That original material was supplied by nylex, the modern equivalent is called 'nylex designer twill' - not sure what availability is like and if you could still get it in a close match.

We managed to get hold of some new old stock vinyl to retrim my seats but that was over 10 years ago and I have no idea where it was from sorry :(

Hey David.
Very nice 850 indeed.
I think you might be right. I will visit my trimmer and see if he's able to patch a piece behind the torn section and top sew the panel in - that way at least the majority is retained.
I'll update with images once I have it repaired. Gotta get the rubber diaphragm done too - bum fell out on me driving it home!

hey guys,

I've got the same interior (the blue with grey seats), and have had a chat with the trimmer and the only grey with a similar pattern is not vinyl but cloth.
He's trying to convince me to change it all to cloth to save burning the rear end on the seat on hot days.
Thoughts?
But it will improve your car absolutely.

I've never liked cloth seats. It doesn't feel right
