Before taking the plunge...are there any particular fitment issues installing an LCB and RC40 with 'Puddin Stirrer' transmission with rubber/steel inner joints?

I ask because there was a bit of fiddling required to ensure clearance between stock exhaust and QH joints (since replaced with standard).

Hi Rick,
I believe there is a problem with room when fitting a Maniflow LCB and rubber cross U/Js, rumour has it a pipe needs denting in for clearance.
I know it's more work but I would be fitting pot joints & shafts instead... as the rubber ones are not durable these days.

Alternative (but costly) is fit Hardy Spicers, they will slide onto the splines of your existing driveshafts.

[edit] If you want to keep rubber U/Js I would fit a Maniflow freeflow header instead.

Maniflow/minispares/minimania stock two different versions - one is shaped slightly different to fit around the rubber joints. They're double the price though!
Normal

Alternate

The Freeflow Cooper style manifolds fit on fine with the rubber joints

Thanks for the quick responses...I have new pot joints and related drive shafts so that is the way I'll go!
