All marine ply construction, based on 998 cc Mini running gear.

what does that mean?
there were lots made?
or was this a one off?

it would rot away in the water,
although it says marine ply so i reckon thats special

This is what the guy wrote who wants/wanted to sell it.

All marine ply construction, based on 998 cc Mini running gear. The vehicle is tax exempt and tested until May 2005. Body is in good condition and it drives well. New tyres are fitted and the only work needed should be the interior as I have been unable to decide how to finish it, this would be only seats and carpet and or varnished. The car drives well and pulls crowds, it would be an ideal show car for an extrovert.

Price : £1,250 ono

Looks a bit like a mini pope mobile.
