Absolutely loved Hottest Minis. Loved the restos. My favourite was a guy who had the best of both worlds. A restored Cooper S AND a Clubman GT. I've had the GT for a long time but my Cooper S shell needs a bit of work! The engine's done though!
I must have read those mags dozens of times and yes they are a very important part of Aussie Mini history. Now I just have to go and bloody find them again! I'm sure I left them in the........

Im pritty sure ive got a copy floating around from the mid 90s from when gold Coast car sound did "Satan's little mini" ....21 orian 10in subs in it ...they even fitted and modded a truck alternator to help keep the system charging lol ...it was a laugh but it did attract alot of attention from it

Lol ive got all these issues also ,along with every monthly issue mini world and mini mag from jan 95 upto 2000 , when the bmw mini came out I kinda lost intrest in my minis.....but lucky ive found it again lol

I still have all the Fast Fours and Rotaries issues somewhere for the Re-cooperation series .The part that has always amused me though is where he searched Australia for the 'Special' trim that was only used for the Cooper "S" , it must have had a lot of restorers in the day searching high and low for this very elusive trim .
Also in those days all the books and parts catalogues refer to the body prefix for the Mk2 as 'YKG2S4'
