Welcome on board Leyland78.

Check your breather circuits. The blow by from the engine needs to go somewhere, and if it is blocked, or incorrectly plumbed, then it will push out where ever it can.

Hi I'm Terry and I live at Portarlington near Geelong in VIC.
I have a 1968 Mini Van which I intend to modify, it is currently an 850 but I would prefer a 1275 with disc brakes and a rod change all synchro box.
So far I have a spare 1100S 1275 engine and a 998 and some 10" Contessa's I bought recently on Ebay.

I will put a smaller and better picture in when I take one.

He just got here and you're stalking his garage!

Good mods for the van I think. I'm assuming you have a pudding stirrer gearbox under the 850? You can get an all synchro remote box as well which will fit your tunnel without any mods (other than the gear stick hole being cut) from 69 on. The rod change floorpan has a differnent hump shape than the one in the van.

Hi All,

My name is Paul, I am from Tasmania, Snug. I own a 998 LS (Love IT) which is 99% complete original apart from the radio console which was cut to fit a modern radio AAHHHHHHHHHH. So I have managed to source the original Radio for the LS for its time thanks to AUSMINI members who were all very helpful thank you. I just need the console for it now. I am looking at completing my mini to 100% mint condition as I will be looking after this baby until I croak it and then pass on to my son who is a keen as I am thank god. So I would like to thank all you members and Scott for
Starting AUSMINI and all the Moderators who have made this possible. God bless you all and thank you.

Kindest regards

Paul
