Love to see a bmw mini last 40-50 years like a bmc mini

With them saying "the new original" I can only assume the mk1 Bini is what they are reffering to as the "original" that they have now remastered and this is the current result.
It's like using a cassette to record a song off the radio then dubbing that onto other cassette and so on. It'll just get worse and worse .

The problem that will never go away is there was no "evolution" from the classic to the modern. The classic mini finished production than BMW started production on a 100% new car, nothing related.

Maybe go and take one for a test drive guys! Sure they're not a classic mini incarnation or evolution but for a modern small car with character, style and performance to me I feel they've tapped the mini spirit effectively.

No ones saying buy one....

I'd love one.... Just looked it up...one on the billboard $41k.. RRP.. John cooper works GP $62k
