Hey everyone just like some feed back on if anyone has used this silver sticky sound deadening insulation (resomat)before.. Was thinking of lining the floor, firewall and definitely the roof before I get the roof lining redone. My concerns are sticking it too the floor means I can't see in the future if rust is developing. Should just used the normal underlay type under the carpets and sticky stuff on the roof???

(Resomat & or prem underlay)

I've got dynamat behind the dash, works well but sticks like sh*t to a blanket. I would not recommend it on the floor for that reason, besides that it's a great product

Make sure your car doesn't leak any water if your going to stick anything on the floor , otherwise you will have issues down the track if it does .
I would put normal underlay on the floor , that way if it gets wet you can remove it and dry it out .

I used a product from jay car called 'response'. It is very similar to dynamat but cheaper. It has the same sticky back, but can be pulled up easily.

It definitely helped to take the harshness out of the volume. I also have some carpet underlay which does a better job at lowering the volume.

This resomat pretty cheap.. I know dynomat every well and yeah damn exspensive..
Resomat in sections of
500x430mm $13 and 1300x500 $36

Think I'll go with my original set up.. Sticky Matting behind dash and roof then the premium underlay under carpets n up firewall..
