It is a Leyland Mini Van. It was built with an 1100 motor.

021 = Leyland Mini
A = Manual
2V = 2 door van
2 = Trim level 2

M = 4 speed floor change manual gearbox
10 = 1098cc motor

8/73 The date the car dispatched from the factory

It's marked exactly the same as mine, except mine is 7/73.

You and your new fangled one-month-later-than-mine van!

Thanks for that. I bought it without and engine so I wasn't sure. Has rod change tunnel and pot joint cv ends so I assumed that side of it. I have a couple of 1100 engines here so that works out pretty good.
What does trim level 2 mean its meant to have? It has blue seats with head rests and blue seat belts but there is no dash cluster. There is also a heater.

The others might correct me here, but I'd be fairly sure it was a direct change originally. Mine was, though it's rod and pot now. Checking for the patch in the floor pan would let you know anyway.

Mine was otherwise stock - had heater, two gauge cluster, no radio and that's about it. Seats were high back like yours.

Sorry, can't supply you any other information - my door cards are made out of old beds, floors are riveted chequerplate and carpet is definitely home made!

Thanks for the info guys. Very helpful.
There is no patch in the floor. Rod change floor for sure. I will have to do LH foot well panel. Bit of rust there but the rest of the floor all good.
