The 10x4.5s are not safety rims, because the tyre beads would break on a wheel this small. Folks in USA regularly break beads when fitting to these wheels.
Tubes in tubeless tyres are more trouble than they are worth. If you put them in Yoko A008s they chafe on the internal ribbing, and blow.
As I found out.
Subsequently I never managed to roll a tubeless Yoko off a 10x5 Contessa wheel at Wakefield Pk enough to lose pressure, and I did try pretty hard.

Hi Kevin
Got my A008's fitted and they look pretty swish.
What tyre pressures should I use. It will mainly be a weekend driver.

Phil

Cooper S back in the day ran 28psi front, 26psi rear. For road use I run 30f/28r with A008s on Contessa 10x5 wheels.

Got some A008's fitted on my contessa's today. The guy fitting the tyres noticed there wasn't a bead seat/channel ridge thingy on the rims and suggested that tubes be installed. I remembered reading this thread and the good ol' Docs suggestion to go without...

Hope to post some pics of my car using 2 hands one day Sir!

I also just ordered a set of Yokohama A008's from Gordon Levin in Emu Plains for $139 each but you only pay for three so it was $417 for the set, fitted and balanced.
They are happy to fit them to my Cooper S wheels without tubes even though they are not Safety rims.

I also went down this route.
Couldn't say no!

I love how those rosepetals pull up behind under the lip willy.

Cheers Mick.
They were really the only option of a period alloy wheel which didn't require flares, short of going a Contessa.
Beauty of these is that the Cooper S disc brakes fit under the fronts too.

I have been running Dunlop Formula R's for a while now and love them. I will be up for 2 more soon so i hope you can still get them.

i have never tried a set of 32R's due to price and the Dunlops have been so great for around $130 last time i think 2 or so years ago from Garry's motorsport at Blacktown, they are a Dunlop Motorsport Tyre dealer
