I don't think you have a choice.
1" was the early size I think, replaced by 15/16" I think. Or vice versa. Only 1 size is generally available now, Kc stocks 15/16". LH and RH.

Note if it originally had the 1" cylinders, a little filing of the backplate holes is needs to fit 15/16" ones. On 1 hole for each cylinder.
