Well if any 1 can travel back in time, can they buy me the January Issue 119 of Hot 4's. Thaks to the Hots 4's forum, I just found out on fri that my Mini was featured in issue 119. I have been calling Express Publications all year trying to find out when it will be featured, one guy even told me a fortnight ago that it was going into the next issue?? Obviously a lie!

Now i have to try and track down back issues, i have been in touch with the company who do the back issues for Express Publications, and they need to check if they still have any stock left, if they do each copy of the mag is $17.99!

So i can thank Hot 4's for doin a crappy job on cutomer relations, they would have gained a few more sales if i had of known about it in January.

I've still got that Mini special issue that was released in 1992 by hot 4's.

Anyone remember it? It had all the best minis about Oz. It was my favourite mag issue for years, still is i spose.

Yes crap i agree, not my favourite mag but it gave me something to do! But yeah they did me a favour by featuring it, but i also did them a favour by supplying a car free of charge. So it would of been really nice to get some warning about it all.... So can any1 tell me if the car looked ok?

Well finally got a hold of a copy of the Jan Issue of Hot 4's.... Not to bad at all. 4 pages worth, photos looked quite good. Been able to source 6 back issues which will cost me $18 each. Going to order them 2day.

That's just ridiculous that they won't give you any copies for free direct from Hot 4's.

When mutant was in Fast Fours I just rang them and they sent me quite a few copies.

They usually understand that you want to supply your tradespeople with copies so that they can show other people their work.

I would give them another call and put the hard word on them.

are the back orders a special print?? Surely that would be the only reason they could charge so much!

No they have them sitting there in stock, for some idiotic reason they charge $7.99 per issue which is normal. But charge $10 p/h on each copy, so even though all 6 are coming to me i still get hit $10p/h per copy. So im not that impressed wih Hot 4's not advising me as to when the car was featured. Would of only been $7.99 per copy.

When you say the current issue has January free which month is it? I just bought June issue and it came ina sealed plastic bag but it didn't have the January issue free inside. It some Hot Imports (x2) mags inside the bag.

Yeah, nah ill just buy some copies!!!! The june issue i bought had hpi mags aswell. And Jan, id say it will be useless tryin to call for more copies, no 1 ever answers the phone u just get put to voice mail. Ive asked to speak to the senior editor and get the same deal. To me lookin in, it seems like a fairly poorly run company in terms of dealing with customers!
