I'm rewiring/moving my relays and fuses from the engine bay to the dash and I came across some green/yellow trace and green/orange trace wires running to the relay switched circuit (from the relays to the headlights they are blue/white trace and blue/red trace as per normal).
What I'm unsure about is the green wires, I can't see them in the wiring diagrams I have so I'm assuming they are not original and have been added to go from the std switch to the relay. Does this sound correct or am I all confused and muddled up :?: :?

Yeah the blue wires are the headlight wires. Im guessing someone has added to green wires in. Dont stress too much about it.

Green yellow, is that the colour for the heater wires on a smiths metal heater?

I traced them back in the loom and they are joined back into the blue/white and blue/red headlight wires.

Yeah, someone just got handy with some spare wire :lol:

I love a complete and unsullied loom...

I removed those green wires and re-connected the blue wires for the headlights so now my loom is back to original in that area.
Now to set up the relays for the H4 headlights (low and high beam), if I split the wires coming straight out of the steering column for the low and high beams;
Splice into the wires before this joining plug.

Will this work, using the wires coming from the dipper switch to the switch feed (85) on the relay and then going from the + power outlet on the relay (87) back to the headlights?
