 Post subject: clubman steering lock

I have removed the steering lock off my clubman as it was not working properly.
Question is do I need this fitted for car to pass rego.

What doc says is probably correct if it is fitted but not working.
however to answer your question in the legal sense yes you do have to have a steering lock if it was fitted from the factory,

Thanks John,

I have taken the tongue out of the lock as it was not sitting in the column groove properly.
It seems as if it's not protruding enough.
I will try and see what is wrong with it over the weekend.
