I would mention Julie (kyoda). Julie is very much part of the Mini scene in NSW and one of the nicest people you would ever meet. Julie's mother in law Rae is another Lady who one could call Mini mad, another truly lovely person, who gave freely of her time for the Mini Car Club of NSW for a very long time, and a large portion of that time served as President. Rae purchased a new Mini in 1964 and still has that car, which she has kept in fantastic condition

My girlfriend (21) is pretty Mini mad (I'm 20). I actually can't drive because of my vision impairment (I own the mini purely as a passion), but when we got together she insisted on driving my mini and loves taking us for drives.

My seven year old granddaughter has grown up with Minis from the day she was born. She's got to know a lot of "Mini people" and loves going to the track to watch them race. She already has her own Mini which stands in the corner of the shed awaiting restoration. No surprise that her chosen colour is pink but hopefully she can be convinced otherwise with the fullness of time! She is super competitive so I can see her heading off to the track for a few laps when she's old enough.

I just checked the BMC and Leyland paint colour cards and there doesn't appear to be a lipstick pink amongst the range. :(

Look a little further afield BLVC889 Rose Pink is a very subtle color that might suit

lets not encourage her... The car is an original Mk1 S, she happened to claim for herself. There's no way I'm painting it pink. As far as I'm concerned Special Burgundy is a type of pink.
