I hope I haven't confused people. It is an 1100S motor not a Cooper S motor I know that. I was just curious that if one day I decide to buy a Cooper S and something goes wrong with the motor (assuming I keep it) could I swap the motors over without too much buggerising around

my original S motor is safely on the shelf and I'm on my 3rd or 4th 1100S block...

Yes that is what I would suggest. Store the original Cooper S motor and run the 1100S while you have fun.

Glad they are 1100S lumps not S blocks though!
