dunno... the red on the firewall looks like it's been there a while, but doesn't look like an original colour (too early for jet red), and is obviously different to the indigo blue on the ID plate, but who knows what it's been through

Looks like holdens hothouse green, was very popular a few years back. Its better then the tiger mica that was everywhere in 2000

I was referring to the captive nut just below the id tag it's shouting mini k shell to me but I may be wrong

Looks like a Mini K body to me. Nut under the ID plate means the shell is made for a 6 screw binnacle 1969 on. Very odd that there is no sign of Indigo blue, I can only see a red base colour on the shell. The angle brace looks like it is fully welded across the bottom.

Has anyone inspected the mini to confirm whether it definitely is a cooper s and that the Compliance plate and original engine number are correct for the body/car, as I know a few people that are interested in it but are not in the position to inspect it straight up.

Its probably a mini K body but he has the original rusty body and all the Cooper S bits.

Went for $8500. Wonder if the new owner will try and get the original body from him or make a replica with the K body.
