As usual if you look at the part number you will probably find them at in another BMC/Leyland product...

Below is from the Unipart Worldwide Model Code microfiche dated Feb 1993. Excuse the lack of clarity. You'll see a list of vehicles that AHA8785 was (apparently) used on (half way down the right column).

it could be just me but the nuts in this pic look domed to me.... not trying to open up a fresh can of worms here ... just saying. save the pic and zoom in and tell me what you think. It's by no means definative but they "look" to be domed. or maybe doomed??

A Possible explanation.

Old photos are always a good source of info, however, I have found that very early promo and press photos are often of preproduction models that sometimes differ slightly from what was later built in the proper production run.

EDIT: In this case I reckon they are the correct ones, they do have a slight domed top, photo makes it look more domed than it is.

and same as these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BEK370-MG-MI ... 1590148940

.....Good detective work Morris 1100 :D

I was going to say something similar, you can't trust a preproduction car in press photos.

See http://www.classicminispares.co.nz/catalog/143. Steve is a perfectionist and although reproduction, these will be exactly what you need.

I just noticed his centre caps seem to look better than the English ones too.
