HI Boomini
The pistons are .135tho over size and you will have to off set the bores 1/2/3 .o25 and 4 .015 you will then have to use a 1275 gasket, some holes in the block may have to be blocked off same with the head but in saying that some people have just bolted the 1275 gasket on and got away with it.
Plenty of pistons in stock, send me a cam and i'll grind it, the manifold and weber come ready to bolt on and jeted for your engine price $500 8)

I think Graham may have to start posting a price list =D, I can see alot of small bore people wanting to do this/variations - me included.

Is that $500 for the weber and manifold or whole lot?

Very tempting. Could sell my 1275 to fund this....

Are these genuine Italian made or Chinese? I see they are making cheap Webers now.

Hi Boomini
That's $500 for the weber, manifold, and all the bits to bolt it on and make it work.

Hi TK
I'm using the Chinese weber and for good reason, we've been finding lately that the Spanish webers are not so good the castings are rubbish the primary venturi's and chokes are really badly made, holes that are not drilled right through (try finding that when you are trying to sort a motor out on the dyno) and when they leave out progression holes it doesn't come away from idle very well.
we had a NB motor on the dyno a while back it was 10ft/lb of torque down
tried every thing to find out what it was but to no avail, took my carbie of the my race car bingo back come the HP took all the
jets and bits out of mine put them in the Spanish carb and still it would not work.

So that's why I am using the Chinese carbs but I do modify them a little bit to get them to work a little better.

Hi All
Checked the timing today, total timing was 25deg which makes it a very efficient engine.

Chinese stuff is as good as anything else out there now. As with stuff made anywhere, it will be manufactured as well as it's allowed to be... so if it's meant to be a high end product, it will be very good.
