Is there a mini's at the bay this year? Down at wrigley reserve in Glenelg?
Just wondering if I should bother working on the van or not

Not on this year as the costs of hiring the ground have gone up and there was a lack of volunteers to help organise the event.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

So same as last year then. The mini scene is down the drain in SA.

Are you a member of mini club sa? Have you ever asked if help is needed to organise events like this? Do you know the time and effort and cost needed to put on a event like this? Instead on making comment like "the mini scene is down the drain" How about being proactive within the mini scene.

I thought events just happened
It is quite often a thankless job for volunteers and organisers of events like that.
Well done to all that volunteer their time for any event.

My thoughts exactly Doogie , i was going to write the same thing yesterday but i got a little busy at work .

Both Mini clubs are very similar
Hotbricks is trying to get more runs and more motorsport events happening this year
but what both clubs need is active members...

i wish i had the time too be apart of a club but my work hours generally leave me busy on weekends & most nights, there was a small FB i was too check out called "cruising mini's" something similar too that but cant find it on facebook. even mini's at the mill was down on numbers last year compared to previous years so i cant imagine it being any easier for mini's at the bay since glenelg charge more than birdwood mill for the use of the reserve. this just gives me more time too work on my mini for minis at the mill or hopefully make it too hay
