I'm in debet between a real popping bright red and something like your 4myego, a great colour mix but not fully in your face red.

Surtees.

I had a similar search. I wanted a RED which was dark. Problem was, the darker I went, the more brown it appeared. Some REDS looked orange in bright daylight if they were too light. Mmmmmm.............

After a lot of looking, I went to VW Tornado RED. The GTI Golf, new Beetle and Audi's use this colour.
My second choice was going to be the Honda Jazz RED.

I'm very happy with this (Actually, its the wife's Cooper) Went 2 pack.

The Jet Red colour can be very orange-ey in the daylight. I like the Works Mini reds the most of the stock reds.

I do like that seamless look, is it just me or do those photos make it look salmon?

hahaha nice one. I think I'm set on the VW red come up a treat on Haze's resto, but will be going white roof and stripes. I did debate silver roof/stripes but think I will stick with tradition.

Ferrari red looks fantastic. Be careful with some of the Jap bright red colours because I noticed many of them look orangish in direct sunlight if that makes sense... Another advantage with Ferrari red is that any panel shop can mix the colour right. It took me weeks of staring at red cars to choose the eventual colour. Drove me mad!

Ok I made the decision to go the the VW tornado red, it's the type of red I am after, thanks for all the suggestion, links and pictures.
Also special thanks to Haze Blue, sorry I'm stealing your colour but it will be different I'm going white roof and stripes.

Surtees.

As with any decision, go to a dealer and look at it inside and outside to see it "in the flesh".
Then have a peep at the color code.

Cheers
Alex.

Great decision. I have a Tornado Red VR6 and it's a fantastic looking red - esp when just polished up! I do not like the VW Mars Red that some cars are painted.

Yes I have gone and seen it in the flesh for sure actually made me like it more which is always a good thing, I've seen a few on the road too and think they look great.
