Hi Guys, I bought a '65 Morris Mini Delux as an unfinished project. The bodywork is in very good condition and it has a poo load of parts, including four short engines, two cylinder heads and two gearboxes. I really want to keep the car, but the fact is I have neither the time nor the space to do the car justice.

If I were to sell, what would be a reasonable price? I know it's a bit hard to say without pictures, but the reason I ask is, if it's not actually worth too much, I'd rather keep it for a project in 2-5 years time.

I suppose the other question is, how much would be worth if fully restored?

Any advice appreciated.

Woz

Keep it, sell off excess parts.

Welcome to Ausmini!

First thing get some photos - this question pops up all the time and you'll only get veigue useless answers until you do.
You haven't told us what the engines are, what the heads or boxes are, what other parts are there.

If that description was on ebay without pics you'd get a bid of $200.

If in doubt do nothing it will only gain in value if you decide to sell later.

Just make sure to store it right so rust doesn't set in!

As the saying goes, a pictures worth a thousand words. Its a bit vague, so many factors to confider. Even if it was a mk2 Cooper S, where you are even comes into the equation...........unless you'll post it. :-)

Here's a few pics of when I got the car. I'll have to have a good look at Engine numbers to confirm details but there is a seized 1098, a 998 and two other 1098 lumps.

The sills feel pretty good. Giving them the tap test makes them sound pretty solid? The floors are good too.

Obviously this is just a snap shot and if I were going to sell I'd catalogue everything first and take pictures inside and out. I know I've asked a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' type question, but if it's not worth too much as is, I'll keep hold of it.

Id say 2grand if complete. The motors worth nothing in the state they are in. I would keep it. Covered up in nice dry place. One day you will have the time too work on it.

Decemt condition roundies are getting so hard too find these days. If you sell it you will kick yourself for letting it go.

It has the boot lid hole for the dot in Mini . matic so I suspect it was originally auto.

Less than 2 grand as is.

Ha ha! I borrowed the Ute from a mate. I'm actually Sydney based. I'll update my profile in a minute.
