Thank you to all those Mini enthusiasts who have been waiting patiently for the return of supplies of the round nose plastic flares. I’m referring here to the type fitted in the factory to MK II Cooper S’s, and other models. I am satisfied with the quality of the items produced by the latest manufacturer I’ve tried and I’ve now taken delivery of a small quantity. Additional supplies are arriving in the first week of March (next week).

To place an order please contact me using the details from the Mini Businesses thread – viewtopic.php?f=41&t=83593

Note that matching metal backing strips to factory specification are also available.

I can’t give a time frame for availability of flares to suit the front of the Clubman body but I’ll try to keep the forum updated on developments. Rear flares are the same for both round nose and Clubman bodies.

Thanks again for everyone’s understanding and support during this long and somewhat frustrating search for a suitable manufacturer.

Fantastic job, John!

Are you also working on the wide versions of these?

Thanks and Cheers!

Yes, I am. Tooling is currently being made, here in AUSTRALIA, and that makes me happy, Australian Made
Timing I am not sure of. I hope no more than a couple more months.

Thank you for your patience.

Cheers John

It'll be good to be able to get something that actually fits... The last set of flares I got are not even close to being a nice fit

Awesome work John.

I know you dont know about timing but do you reckon the clubman ones will be before or after the wide roundy ones?

Same as these but in black plastic, as per the original factory items. Also the metal backing strips.

Unfortunately I can't use the flares, but that is a great tablecloth under them! I'll have to see if my wife wants one!

What??!! you mean you didn't produce them in Camino Gold??!!

Could you please let me know when the Camino Gold ones are ready?

Then after that, I think I want them in Shadow Blue, but no rush on those

(sorry, couldn't resist)
