I think I fitted a Leyland clubman accelerator pedal to my car many years ago as the Morris one was just way to tinny for my size 12 foot.

This one I've got is not square but rectangular. Can you still buy pedal rubbers for this type of pedal? I've also got square clutch and brake pedals which I think the entire pedal box was also from a clubman.

The accelerator pedals in Morris Minis/Leyland Minis/Mokes/Cooper S etc were all the same, from 61 to 78 in Aus. The Minimatic had a larger rectangle shaped pedal, for reasons only BMC know, that sounds like what you have, most suppliers here in Aus dont have them, so you will have to look for NOS or a good s/h one.
The Ebay link that Mick posted has the correct early brake & clutch pads, and some generic stool rubber pad for the throttle, that were never fitted to a Mini in Aus.

A Rover Mini has a larger square throttle pedal. They never had a rubber pad fitted originally, but people often fit a early brake/clutch pad to them.
Clubman/Rover brake & clutch pads are diamond shaped and are readily available.

My mini K, bought new in 1969, did not have a rubber pad on the accelerator pedal. Friends with minis at the time did not have pedal rubbers on them either. They appeared in parts shops years later.

If You like to have a larger pedal for the accelerator ,That you can fit a pedal rubber to, then I would suggest you fit NAM3108 pedal, you can then use the early Mini clutch or brake pedal Pad
