They will probably say "Yes", but it's going to take you all week to get there!

I suppose I should really introduce myself here I guess.

Hey, My names Tait, but for some reason developed the nickname sab (long before I took 'Sabretache' as a nick online... I spelt it wrong here :P).

I drive a 1978 Mini Clubman, in the most ridiculous green you'll ever see (photos are in the appropriate section).

I havn't had a mini for that long, less than a month at the moment, but have had a bit of experience tinkering with newer cars. I've always wanted a mini, and finally got the green light to get one, so am real keen to leap into the scene and start playing about under the hood.

I look foward to chatting with all of you, and hopefully seeing some of you at meets not too far down the track :)

Welcome Sab !

Don't worry, the colour grows on you.
I had a van that colour - at least it gives you a chance of finding it in the car park :)

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love it, bt that doesn't stop it being ridiculous :P

The only colour i'd prefer is a deep blue, then I'd chuck a white cross over the bonnet, give it a whole 'St. Andrews Cross' feel, then I can chuck my bagpipes in the boot (the case just fits :P) and I'll feel very scottish indeed :D

You had better wet the head (so to speak) with a wee dram of the water of life ( Scotch whisky for those don't know) as well Sabreatche..

Probably lucky you play the bagpipes and not the base drum.. Try getting that in the boot of the Mini..
