Put up your location as there might be someone living just around the corner who could pop around and give you a hand, I am in Hoppers Crossing and I see there are now quite a few in and around my location, looking more and more like our own little Mini invasion is taking place. Great to see.

what is the latest guys?

The latest is I have a slab of excellent beer!
And we also have another Mini on the way to recovery. Hopefully.
Chris has himself a reasonable 77 Clubby S. Main thing is the body is ok and Chris has experience with panel work for the minor repairs.
Engine sounded ok for what time we ran it.

Coil and distributor.
Changed the dizzy as this is easier than changing the points and condenser.
The cap was u/s as well.

Hey Simmo I have a set of HT Leads for you here while on the electrical rant. FREE

Diesel was that intended for me or for Chris ? If it was for me thanks for the kind offer but mine are pretty new and working fine so no real need for any new ones right now.

See red and shiny !!!

OK I'm back after a long absence

due to my computer at home breaking down and work conditions limiting spare time to use the computers there I have not had a chance to update, but now I'm back

After Diesels amazing help dad and I had a power weekend afterwards and got it running quite smoothly, we changed the coil, and spark plugs and also the condenser and points in the dizzy, once we loosened off the carburetor it was a lot easier, also having the exhaust bolted on helped

next will be the brakes, the master cylinder reservoir broke so we need to look at getting a new bottle or a whole new assembly, online they look to be $120ish for the whole thing so might be worth going that option unless someone has a spare lying around,

My little brother (16yo) has also sourced a potential mini graveyard up in the country so we will see how that goes,
