Hi Guys,

Just a few quick questions... first mini I am restoring at the moment, have pulled off the dash and found that someone in its history has cut the dash switch panel to fit something stupid or another (see photo), and I want to replace it to original...

Questions, are the 1971 Mini K's running the early MK1 dash switch panel with the smaller opening or the wider cooper switch holes? (see images) trying to find out & replace the cut panel.

Have linked photos below. I would have said it looked more like the thinner one...

Thanks in advance!
Evan

All Mini Ks had the Mk 1 switch panel. The 2nd photo you have of the Cooper is a English Mk2, that switch panel was not available in Australia.

78 van dash lower panel is different, it wont work in a Mini K if you are looking at returning it back to original.
