 Post subject: Output seals

Any tips on how to get these out without damaging the covers. I've tried levering them with a screwdriver but there stuck fast. Cheers. Image

Grab flange in the vice,
Use big flat screwdriver to lever it out.

Yep, what the doc said. Or maybe you could also attack them from the back as well.

I changed mine while still bolted to the case, so they just levered out.

Got the buggers out. Ended up using a small jemmy bar. They were glued in I think.

No need to glue them with anything. They are rubber coated; fit them dry and they seal, and don't slide about.
