I had a bit of spare time last week so with winter being here and it getting colder in the shed I thought I might be spending a bit more time indoors so I decided to knock up a sampler bonnet to contemplate for my next project the van. We (read the Boss) haven't decided on a colour but managed to narrow it down to a kind of short list, original is out as white is too plain but we are after one of the older colours. Preferably one that is uncommon or just plain never seen anymore.

Any feedback on the test colours? Anyone want to guess what they are? (one is pretty common)

One of the most stand-out vans I've seen was over 10 years ago, based on a Morris Major Elite colour scheme of a pale grey and a pinky/purple roof. Sounds awful but made the car look really classy. Even my wife wanted to buy it.

Just a stab at it...

Acacia > Platinum
Saxon Green > Shadow Blue
Porcelain Green > Dusk Blue

You got one more Morris, just in the wrong spot. Porcelain Green is center left, Platinum is correct

I'm clutching at straws now...

Sandlewood > Platinum
Porcelain Green > Dream Blue
Tamarisk Green > Marine Blue

Getting better, Sandalwood, Platinum, Porcelain Green Correct. The other blues are Arctic and Rheims (Ocean), final colour in Aintree Green

Sandalwood > Platinum
Porcelain Green > Arctic Blue
Aintree Green > Rheims (Ocean) Blue

Porcelain Green... classy and lovely.
Sandalwood....Flashy but slightly subdued., which would be a good thing.
If you're game.... I like Simon's idea, but be prepared to be stared at!
