Another car with an identity crisis - anyone know what model this car is - definitely not a Cooper

Just wondering why you think "definitely not..."

I can't really see enough detail but I would not be surprised to find its an English car.

Cheers, Ian

RTA says
1961 RED MORRIS 00CAR SEDAN
VIN/Chassis: ********4650
The registration expired on 24/05/1999.

The description is so vague, it could be anything really... It has the narrow number plate flap too

Gee, they're verbose when it comes to describing their car for sale.

I agree, it looks like an English shell that has been upgraded with Aussie doors and bootlid.

Need to see the numbers and the engine bay.

Definitely a Euro "Bull Bar"...would the body numbers and gutter slots (if fitted) be proof positive? When did the UK introduce large rear windscreens?

The gutter slots and body numbers would be enough for most people as long as they are correct.

The same time as the big tail lights I think.

How many people put an AUS sticker on there car when they live in AUS. I would say that an aussie owned it over in the UK then brought it over.
Doors changed, Extra brake light added.

So do I. Don't English cars have what looks like they were put in with a cold chisel? I think slots are an Aussie thing on front only, drilled holes at the rear.
