Congratulations! I might already know, but why did you fail the two previous times?

first time i failed the list was quite long and a few of them were major so, out came that shity old engine and in went a new one, with new mounts and new disc brakes, second time was for rust, dampeners, windscreen, some loose wiring, undercar lighting and a few silly lil things BUT thats all in the past now!!! It past and i never wanna have to go through it again haha

Book it in at frankston for 12:35.
When I had mine done last week, the guy was so desperate to finish and have lunch, he just wrote down the car number and I was done!
Didn't do anything else at all. :D

Personally I'd rather have a mechanic pick out any genuine an potentiallly dangerous faults so I can get them attended to, sure it may sound great getting a guy who'll just check numbers and wave you out the dorr blueslip in hand but I'm sure you wouldn't feel that way when you have an accident doing 100k down the highway because of a mechanical fault

I want details, why did they fail the windscreen? cracks? my seal isnt sitting perfectly in the windscreen on one of the corners, could they fail it for that? It doesnt leak, but the seal isnt quite "in"

PS congratulations :)

my windscreen failed because it had heaps of tiny little chips, just visible to the naked eye, kinda like it had been sand blasted, and if you looked through it into the sun it kinda went hazy, my seals on the front are new but on the rear my seals are pretty ordinary but still passed!
