My Superlite 12 by 5's still have the same inside diameter as a 10in wheel inside diameter, so as for bigger brakes with 12in wheels.....Its not always the case..!! Spewin

Didn't mokes come standard with 12's?

No Mokes were built with 12". They were all either 10" or 13".

For the record, I've got 10"... wheels, that is, on all 3 Minis.

10" wheels also save you from gutter rash when parking (or cutting corners) Found that the back really gets a hammering through roundabouts.

While on the subject, does anyone have a contact for sharp pricing on 10" tyres?

kazjim, Graham in aus and I bought 12x Yoko165/70-10 A008s between us last year.
$95 each I think, they are probably $110 at most places now. Graham got them somewhere up in Newcastle.
I'm sure if a few of you club together in Melb you can get similar deals there.
