I get what you are saying low n blow and when I finally make my mind up I will certainly ask for the assistance of many here. The plan at the moment is still to use the 1100 motor I have, and hopefully assemble the motor myself, I like how the car drives with its mostly stock 1100 today and am not really looking to make the fastest mini out there, when I want to go really fast (on a track of course) I have the motorbike anyway. But first things first, the house reno should be done by late October, most of the summer will be spend doing other jobs at the house and just driving the mini as it is. Then I can sit down and decide what sort of project I want to tackle.

i just took my 1152 out for a run after 6+ months being stuck in a shed after moving house, brings a smile to my face every single time. warm head, RE13 cam (id opt for a newer cam unless you love revving the tits off... would not advise with an 1100) and a 3.6 diff makes 50hp atw... all the fun you need... but as others have said, we all get greedy, myself included, i plan to strap a gt17 turbo to this engine (one day...) most of the parts are here waiting for me, just need to find to courage to take that step, i know once i do there will be no turning back, ill be a power hungry zombie... god help me!
