I'm not really a fan of these stock seats... Might have to buy another set of race seats... No support... Just slide out of the stupid things.

Wonder how stock seats would lock down at the back on that rod that bolts through the floor being further back on the last hole

Is it bolted into the back of the crossmember aswell or just sits over the back?

They're that nicely made that I would consider tacking them in permanently if I had a need to have them.
....Or putting captive nuts into the back of the cross brace.

That guy makes a pretty sweet looking steering column drop bracket too.
It replaces the whole thing, rather than the little add-on adjustable brackets that most people have.

I would drill a 12mm hole right through from front to back, and braze a 12mm steel rod in there, tapped 1/4" UNF both ends.
It's how I fix captive nuts that have broken out and gone awol (but I just tapped the front).
