Which extractors were you using ?
Which fitted ... Which did not ?
Anybody with similar experience with autos?

I put a pair of HS2s and a Perry LCB zorst onto my 2nd Matic (with 1100S auto) years ago, I don't recall any major probs. Kickdown linkage needed a few mods was all. Can't recall the details sorry.

Doesn't sound like you're going down this route anymore, but for future reference the biggest issue I see here is hose to the fuel pump is so close to the extractors. Having your fuel hose melt and splash fuel onto your 400 degree extractors is one of the fastest ways to get your car blazing.
