Just a thought...would not having the reverse wiring connected cause the indicators and heater fan not to work? I am pouring over a diagram and it seems the indicator flasher draws its power from the wires connected to the reverse circuit.

Lol I have a blank one here as well and is in better condition than the one in the car...sans the holes for the two warning lights.

Haven't progressed to the garage today due to a sick Abyssinian so spent the arvo at the vets. Sad when you see owners coming in with their pets and unfortunately saying their last goodbyes...brought a tear to my eye three times...glad the moggie came home intact.

Ok...a bit off canter...relay for my fuel pump. Unsure of how to wire it in and thinking a hot wire with a 30 amp fuse to the relay and a connect into the coil as the switch. Don't want to wire in a separate switch if I can help it and aware of the safety ramifications in regards to an accident. I have removed my oil pressure switch so do I plumb one of the leads off this as a safety precaution?

Fffffark!

Just removed the fuel pump and it isn't the model I remember! Turns out I have a 7-10 psi model(40107 listed as a 574A on the facet purolator website) so looks like I am going down to the speed shop for a fuel regulator. This wiring thing has turned into a bottomless money pit...lol. The dellorto won't like above 5-6psi without the regulator I would imagine.

The saga continues...mounting as per Dr Minis suggestion in a rear exhaust rubber mount.

I would try it without a regulator first.
GR runs a 7.5psi pump for everything tested on his dyno- SUs, Webers, and including my Dellorto. Was no problem.
Cheap regulators are more trouble than they are worth.
