And also Is it possible to use these as a twin setup instead of single, what would I need to do/ buy to them a left & right carb and linkage kits ect?

Thanks :)

You can't convert them to a true left and right set. But you can use two of the same side with a special linkage and a single choke. That's what the early tuning kits did. Have you got a manifold? I have a couple spare and some less crusty carbs too if you are interested
Here is the original tuning kit:

So you'll have the carbs and manifold like this

With the linkage setup similar to this

When you get the rebuild kit for the carbs, the new throttle spindles are normally a bit longer than standard, which is what you need. You can then join the throttle spindles similar to above.

Kits were sold by BMC back in the day for Minis and Morris 1100 using 2 carbs like that.
My 850 had a set when bought.
They worked OK, however the choke is only connected on one carb.
Only problem I found is the W clips on the throttle joining shaft tend to bite into it, making throttle synchronization a hit and miss affair.
