7" from lip to lip.... [so what technically 7" wide wheels are wider? If you get what I mean... If you're measuring from the inside of the wheel..

I thought as much Bubba. yeah i already knew id have to tub the arches and wings to make them fit. id like this thing moderately low after all. i have no idea how far they stick out, im not at the stage where i can offer them up to the car. little while off that yet. trying to simultaneously prep the body for paint and assemble the subframes. ill have to talk to a couple others about this. dad doesnt think theyll come out that wide but then to memory, he's never put 7 inch wide wheels on his minis before, only 6s and they were with the standard clubman arches. keen to see what this thing will be like when its finished! gonna be quite the track monster with any luck.

honestly i dont think 7" wheels are that bad for driving. 13s are a whole other matter for ride quality but its a compromise im happy to make for the brakes...
