Did Alan Moffat put the Silastic on? Anyone old enough to remember the Silastic add that Alan Muff it did when they sealed up a MKII 'S' with silastic and lowered it into the bay?

is it worth all the trouble of salvaging an old rubber??

if the rubber has any crazing, is stiff, cracking or anything, yer better off to throw it. 40 bucks will get ya a brand spankin new one, and last for another 30 years.

Looks better too

If it's on a moke - why would anyone care if it leaked anyway? You should need a licence to use a silastic gun!!!
