A Mk1 S should have these gauges. The binnacle on a MK1 is screwed on differently to the MK2 binnacle that you are using.

They were once a really popular upgrade, so are a very legitimate period modification.

On one of my cars they were so sensitive I could watch the thermostat open and shut by the temperature flutter.

Personally I prefer full sweep gauges. Black and White Smiths gauges are gorgeous.

+1 for 270° sweep gauges. Much easier to look at out of the corner of your eye
