Hi, I've been out of the scene for a little while and looking to get back into Minis but my Mini needs some rust removal first.

Can anyone recommend a body shop that does rust repairs for Minis?
I'm not after a concourse job but I'd like it to look better than if I just bogged it myself and it needs to be a suitable repair able to pass a RWC.

Visible rust is under the drivers rear window and surface in a few other places as well :(

I'm located in Yarraville.

While I'm at it, anyone up to date on all the Vicroads requirements regarding rust repairs? I had heard it changed and was made a lot harder to get cars registered.

A fair hike from where you are, but Adrian Read Smash repairs in Hastings. I saw the job they did on a Group N Mini recently - looked brilliant.

Declan at Bodymaster in Williamstown does good quality work.
If you scroll down his facebook page far enough you'll see my clubbie getting worked on.

I'm sure there are some very skilful people out there. Bodymaster takes the cake though. That EJ job was unbelievable, and I think Declan donated everything to the EJ Whitten Foundation. Hats off to this firm.
