An embarrassing 52.8hp (there are a lot of minis that would easily double that). Having said that, it has great throttle response and with the Quaife LSD is really easy to drive.

The Mini got at least two wins and a few more 2nd and 3rd place trophies in the driving events - not bad out of nearly 2,000 entries!

Congrats :) I guess a lot of the 4cyl engines at SNats would be turbo or supercharged.

Glad to hear the Quaife is good, I have one in my engine but haven't driven it yet.

The Quaife is great, easily the best FWD LSD I have driven. Just be sure you have absolutely no free play in the steering system (rack, tie rods, etc.) or it will weave when you come on and off the throttle
