Came across this 850 Speedo today. Noticed the Pink end on the Needle. It does not seem to be faded,as we have others that are faded, and this one is Pink. Has anyone seen this before?

Nope. Maybe some put nail polish on it?

Does anyone have a source of replacement needles? I broke mine and am having trouble getting a decent unfaded replacement. I'm looking at having some laser cut from acrylic, but they are riveted on to the brass arbor so quite hard to replace.

We will have a look though our's, but I think faded will be the best you are going to get. :(

Thanks very much. I've got one, but its very cloudy, worse than the original. I'd really like a nice clear one.

I wonder if Rodger Howard has access to originals? In case you aren't aware he's a real Mini enthusiast.

I spoke to Roger Howard about them a couple of months ago. He didn't have a supply but was going to ask around. Roger mention the problem of getting the arbor apart, but I've worked out a method for doing that.

Sure, I will need to take some photos to properly illustrate it, but it isn't that hard - the needle is destroyed though.
