After having rebuilt my S engine over 2 years ago, I thought it was about time I ran the engine on the bench. As expected runs like a clock. Now ready for new lightweight flywheel and back plate to be installed. Another job done.

Drove it for the 1st time! Just up and down the garage to being and then once aroumd the court. Just got me keen to get it on the road properly. The sad bit is I'm about to put it in storage while we build our house.

Changed the oil out and gave her a once over for another run down to Sydney tomorrow. Also attached some new plates.

The Lockheed booster is losing a bit of fluid through the air valve...might be time to take her apart for a new seal!

Took wiper wheel boxes out. Ordered new ones due to the stripped threads for the retaining nuts and broken cog.

Got the fuel tanks back in and got the driver side adjustable lower arm in. Tomorrow's job is passenger side adjustable lower arm and new cone. Then I can move onto some less difficult tasks.

I now need to turn the dizzy 90deg to allow the cap's lower clip to be removed easily.

Pulled the Lockheed booster down and changed out a problem reaction piston seal.

After finishing up putting in new cones and adjusting the front passenger side hi lo (also involving losing the Allen key and socket in the adjuster hole for an hour) I moved onto the painful task of removing the previous owners overly fabricated front seat mounts from the floor and seat channel.
Photos below. Passenger side done. Driver side yet to be done.
